Wine coolers are a niche we have run into more and more across Rocky Mount, Tarboro and Wilson over the past five years. The repair is unlike a regular refrigerator because the cooling system is either compressor-based (high-end) or thermoelectric (mid-range), and the parts and the math are completely different.
Same root causes as a regular fridge. Condenser fan motor, evaporator fan motor, or sealed-system issue. The control loop on built-in dual-zone units is more complex but the diagnostic is identical.
Peltier modules wear out, especially in homes where the cooler sits in a warm pantry. We replace the Peltier and the heat-sink fan together.
Wine cooler doors get used hard; the seal compresses unevenly over time. Replace.
Condenser fan motor on compressor units. Cooling fan on thermoelectric units. We replace.
Sub-Zero, EuroCave and Marvel built-ins have replaceable trim rings and LED light strips. We carry common stock for the high-volume models.
